Belek is a holiday resort town situated in the Serik district in the Antalya Province of Turkey. An increasingly popular holiday tourist destination, Belek is one of the focal points of the Turkish tourism industry and is home to more than thirty four and five star hotels, easy access to over a dozen golf courses as well as numerous other tourist accommodations, services and entertainment facilities.
A top attraction of Belek is its six excellent golf courses. Belek was intentionally developed as a golfing holiday destination and is one of the top Turkish golf centers with world-class golf courses where both the novice and the expert can hone their skills. The golf clubs are paired into two groups within ten minutes driving distance of each other.
Most of the hotels and golf oriented resorts are located in between for the guests` convenience. Besides golfing, Belek also provides you the opportunity for a wide range of water sports like wind surfing, water skiing, sailing and rafting as well as mountain climbing and hunting. There are numerous white beaches in and around Belek with many beach resorts set amidst spectacular views of pine forests with rivers flowing down from the Taurus Mountains.
The water at the seaside is calm, so children can play safely while the adults spend a carefree day sunbathing or swimming. Belek offers everything that holiday visitors could desire with its blue flag beaches, golf courses, natural surroundings with unique flora and fauna and historical sites within close proximity. With over 300 sunshine filled days, low humidity and sea fresh clean air, Belek is a weather-wary travellers paradise. Antalya International Airport has flights year round with charter flights from the UK, Ireland and other international points of departure. Antalya International Airport is the third largest airport in Turkey and is only a 20 minute drive away from Belek.
